Parisbynumbers operates to high ethical standards and your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and every page of our site.
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Parisbynumbers website. The types of personal information collected are:
Name, Address, Email address, Phone number, Credit/Debit Card Information, contributions to our Parisbynumbers BLOG, etc.
If you are an apartment owner, you may submit contact information as well as information about your property.
Save for disclosures required by law in any relevant jurisdiction, we use the information you provide when booking or inquiring about an apartment only to process and complete the reservation and send updates. Other than with SCI PA Location, our Paris based partner, we do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that booking.
Credit/Debit card information is provided by you directly to Societe Generale Bank for the payment of rent and to SCI PA Location for the safety deposit when you sign the letting contract with them on arrival. The HOW TO BOOK section on our homepage explains these processes.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive and may, from time to time, request information or your opinion via a survey, send relevant information such as a Parisbynumbers newsletter or promotion. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
Together with SCI PA Location, we might share non-identifying and aggregate information with our web designers or apartment owners to improve our website and enhance or vary our apartment offer, prices and service. These statistics never contain personally identifying information.
Once a request is made to Parisbynumbers, visitors will be able to access via username and password, their own space on our website for information and records that we have collected and that we maintain about their enquiries and bookings on an ongoing basis. This is to simplify the administration of current and future bookings for you and Parisbynumbers.
For owners, we provide your contact information and the information you provide about your apartment to SCI PA Location only to enable them assess its suitability for short term rental and arrange an inspection with you.
Whilst we welcome and encourage you to participate in www.parisbynumbers.wordpress.com, we reserve the right to add or remove BLOG contributions as we see fit.
If your personal data or records on your space on Parisbynumbers are incorrect, we will change it upon your request by email. You can also ask us to remove your personal data from our database by sending us an email.
This Private Policy Statement is effective from July 1st 2009. We are at all times entitled to change the way we collect, transmit and process the personal information and such other information as we may deem necessary. This Privacy Policy Statement may therefore be amended from time to time in order to reflect the latest changes.
