On the South or Left Bank of the Seine, Saint-Germain-des-Pres is a wonderfully versatile district and rue Monsieur Le Prince is at it's core, between Carrefour de l'Odeon with it's terraced cafes, and the Luxembourg Gardens. Needless to say the nightlife here is excellent but always safe. The Luxembourg gardens, La Sorbonne, the Pantheon Musee d'Orsay and Saint Sulpice (Da Vinci Code) are all in the district and Notre Dame, Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens are a stroll away across the Seine.

The intellectual cafe culture of the neighbourhood is renowned worldwide - try Le Procope, Les Deux Magots or Cafe Flore. Rue de Rennes, rue du Four and rue du Vieux Colombier are just a selection of the many up and middle market shopping streets to choose from.

The nearest Metro stations are Odeon (lines 4 and10), Cluny-La Sorbonne (line 10) and Luxembourg (RER B which connects directly to CDG and Orly airports).

Building/Access

The apartment is on the 5th and top floor of a superb 19th century building with a lift. The apartment is very calm and clear and the view over the rooftops of Paris is lovely.

Accommodation

From the entrance door of this 45m2 apartment, you enter the main room, very well furnished and including a double sofa bed. A dining corner near the windows has a table and chairs. The kitchen is functional and opens onto the living room. The bathroom has an Italian shower and the WC is separate. The bedroom is seperated by sliding doors from the main room and is lit by a skylight.

This apartment is nicely decorated, the finishing touches are perfect and it is unquestionably well located.
