In the "quartier Latin", 100m from the Pantheon and place de la Contrescarpe, this apartment is actually on the mostly pedestrianised "rue Mouffetard" down which you can amble and savour the bustling atmosphere created by its bars, restaurants and food stores and stalls. It really is the most celebrated daily market in Paris and the old stone houses lend it a real village atmosphere. Many cafes on place de la Contrescarpe are famed for the artists and writers who once chose them as haunts.

La Sorbonne, Notre dame, Luxembourg Gardens and boulevards Saint Germain and Saint Michel are all walkable from here.

Accessible from CDG and Orly airports via RER B which stops at Port Royal or Saint Michel-Notre Dame, Place Monge Metro station (line 7) is also nearby.

Building/Access

"The apartment is located in a building of very great standing and is on the second floor (with lift). The apartment has a pleasant view over the street below but without any "vis a vis". In addition, the very beautiful gardens attached to the building add a touch of the country to the heart of the city."

Accommodation

This is a charming studio of 28 m2, very well renovated with exposed beams and a parquet floor. The living room has a settee bed which becomes a very comfortable double bed (160cm x 200cm). The kitchen is separate and fully equipped. The bathrooms has a bath cum shower.

In a few words, for a single person or a couple, you could not live in a better place in Paris for a short or longer period.
