The apartment is located in the 18th arrondissement near the bottom of the northwestern slope of Montmartre hill. Those who like a more bohemian and arty lifestyle will love the village feeling of this neighbourhood of Lamarck Caulaincourt. A cornucopia of cafes, restaurants and meeting places will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in it. Ten minutes walk from your apartment is Paris’ only working vineyard, Vigne du Clos Montmartre (blog link). The wine is feted by a great festival in October so if you happen to be in Paris ....... You can choose to pass all you time in this quieter part of Montmartre but if you must see Sacre Coeur and Place du Tertre they are just up the hill!

Your nearest Metro station is Lamarck-Caulaincourt (sip a beer and people watch at “Le Refuge” opposite the exit) from where line 12 can take you to Place Concorde.

Building/Access

The apartment is located on the second floor (no lift) of a typically Parisian building built in 1900. It has a pleasant 10sqm balcony overlooking rue Larmarck.

Accommodation

This 60sqm apartment has 2 bedrooms, a dining-room and a fitted kitchen.

Each of these rooms are accessible from a spacious entrance hall. The double bedroom looks onto a courtyard. It has a large double bed (160cm x 200cm) with a top quality mattress and a desk. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. The windows give onto a charming 10sqm balcony. The dining-room has a wooden table where 4 guests can comfortably dine. The large double-glazed French windows give this room great light. They also give onto the balcony which connects the living-room to the bedroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. It is accessible from the double bedroom. The toilets are separate, in a room accessible from the entrance hall. There is another small room accessible from this entrance hall with a wardrobe where you can store clothes and luggage. The windows of both bedrooms and living-room also have double-glazed windows.

This apartment has a relaxing and quiet atmosphere and it's simple but meticulous decoration and furnishing - wooden floors, large mirrors, old marble chimneys - is typically Parisian!
